For my Mommy

These may look familiar. I've taken my favorite wildflowers once again, and used the blues and greens on white, to go with my Mom's bedroom. The open petals also have little friends - the small buds around them. My mom and I share the love of blue! For my Mommy with LOVE!

Blues for Gigi

These blues felt a bit abstract. There were some very dark shadows and shades of purple. I used a different background than I've used before - using a greenish-brown, a muted light and a muted dark purple. These blues were done for a special woman that I admire and love!

Blues for Boise

These blue wildflowers were done for a JBX in Boise, Idaho. I used cobalt blue and moss green, with other colors to create different shades and colors of blues and greens. I added an extra "sparkle" to the painting, by using a silver glitter paint in the centers.
