These blues felt a bit abstract. There were some very dark shadows and shades of purple. I used a different background than I've used before - using a greenish-brown, a muted light and a muted dark purple. These blues were done for a special woman that I admire and love!

I have to say this is my favorite of your flower paintings...of course besides my painting! I think you need to give yourself credit on this one. It is beautiful.
